Hi all!

Anyone knows why I used a high quality image for the background of the app, and once I made the apk and installed it in the phone those images are reduced in quality? They are like blurred or something, but if I check the image in the backoffice, it has high quality…. it’s like a web version of the uploaded image?

And another thing…. anyone knows for what is used the download content pop up when you first run the app??? It downloads the content but…. if once downloaded, you open the app with no network or wifi, you can’t see some functions like… foldersv2, then if you return internet connection you can see it loading properly… so…. why this is happening?

I would like to change so when users use the “Contact” feature and click on the send button (email) that they are redirected to another page (ex. a thank you page, custom page)

Hi Ariv,

yes I follow the guide and the last step , when the guide says to click finish without che V1 or V2 signing type, I receive an error because I have to select a Vtype sign.

I think this is the problem

what I have to do?

Help me to understand about signing

we have in siberian settings the firebase codes unique for every apps ( I have MAE ) and it needs for the push notifications

and

we have google console sign , different for every Apps and it is generate with google studio during the build APK steps ? I forget if this sign is on my google console as Apple playstore certificates

Yes when it gives the prompt about Swift just click okay and compile as normal. Also use xcode workspace and xcode project file. Use xcode 9.2

Hi Ariv,

Was looking at the form, but that is not what I’m looking for. I don’t want a calendar based form which really didn’t showed me any other options than yoga classes and such. Unless it is completely open to do modifications and not using predefined cells and templates I don’t see that covering my need.

Modifying existing or paid Siberian Module is really not easy without understanding the module skeleton and Siberian structure in general. Siberian is quite complex App Generator to hack.
From my point of view, I don’t believe such a complex work will be distributed for free.

Hello!

I would like to allow the community in my app to display a nickname when posting a comment. In the translations and viewing the stored personal data is also “nickname” to find.

Where can I activate or release this for the users?

I have already tried to change first name as a nickname in the translation, however, there was still “first name” at the registration for users. The app I had restarted and loaded new. But I did not do an update in the store, becouse I think that’s not necessary!? ….

Does anyone have a tip for me? Thanks a lot and excuse my bad english

Hi. I am new at this and could use a little direction. I’d like to create an App that would be a searchable database. You could search by category or by an item.

What would be the best way to approach that? I looked at the Catalog feature and it could work, but its a little clumsy for what I am thinking. I would also like the ability to have links in the description/text. I also looked at Custom pages — possible aslo

I’m a little confused as to what you get with a template. It seems that in each one, you can change the images, colors and layout. The Features seem standard from one to another, so what do you gain with the different templates?

Hi Andreas,

Nickname field will be used for Realtime Chat.
The simplest way you can do is manipulating via translation i.e.:
First Name will be Nickname
Last Name will be Full Name.
Otherwise you need to modify module specific to show nickname field. This can be done only in Custom Development Module Request.

Hi Lin,

Templates only give you ideas of how you can start creating the app, in terms of which modules you may add for specific industry. It’s not meant to provide the details of every single subsections though.
In version 4.14, Siberian introduces new Import/Export (beta) option which allows you to export your current app’s composition as a template. This exported file can be applied into the existing or new app.
If you utilize custom CSS code in your composition, you need to apply on the new app manually because this Custom CSS entry are saved in the database table.

SAE Install in Subdirectory – System Folder Path Error?

I have a CentOS7 VPS running LAMP. It does not have a domain name. It is https only. I access it by IP by going to https://10.8.0.1/

I have created a siberian folder on my Centos server at var/www/html/siberian

I have placed the index.php installer file in this folder.

I have given this siberian folder apache:apache ownership and 777 permissions

When I go to https://10.8.0.1/siberian/index.php it successfully brings up the Siberian logo and gives me the option to “download & install”

When I try to install I get the error:

<span style=”color: #000000; font-family: ‘Times New Roman’; font-size: medium;”>”Your system folder path does not appear to be set correctly. Please open the following file and correct this: index.php”</span>

I have looked at the entire index.php file, and I don’t know what I need to edit or fix?

I added system and application folders in my html folder and now I get error 500 instead of what I had been getting. Why is Siberian trying to access this? I want Siberian contained to the directory I made for it. This works with my other installs for other web programs. Do I need to edit Siberian’s index.php file to tell it I want it to stay in the folder I made?
